Getir is a super-fast delivery service. We deliver groceries to your door in around 10 minutes. Yes, really.

Download the Getir app, choose what you want and place your order. Then you can sit back and track your order on the map, or continue whatever fun stuff you were doing beforehand.

Getir currently delivers to select areas in London zones 1–2. We’ll soon be expanding throughout London, and then to other major cities in the UK.

Whenever you want from early morning until late at night.

Personal Details

To update your contact details, tap the profile icon in the bottom menu, then tap the edit icon on the top right.

In your profile, you can also add or remove an address in ‘Addresses’, and add or remove a payment method in — you guessed it — ‘Payment Methods’.

Tap on the profile icon in the bottom menu, then tap on “Communication Preferences”. You can update your preferences for email, notifications, SMS and phone separately. Sorted.

Got a fancy new phone? Nice. Phone numbers are your unique identifier so they can’t be changed. If you have a new number, just create another account.

Of course. You can use any address within our coverage area. Just make sure someone is there to receive your delivery.

Ordering

Getir sells over 1,000 products from detergent to dog food, crisps to condoms, phone chargers to formula milk.

Categories include:
• Snacks, soft drinks and ice cream
• Meat and dairy
• Alcohol
• Fruit & veg
• Bakery
• Pet and baby

The minimum spend is £10. Yup, that’s it.

As many as you want, as long as the weight/volume is safe for our couriers to deliver.

You can reach out to our friendly customer service team whether your order has been delivered or not, and they’ll give you all the options. We’ll always do our best to help!

Getir only lists items that are in stock at that given moment. In the unlikely event that a product goes MIA, our speedy support team will get in touch pronto.

Substitutions aren’t a thing here because we have a real-time inventory. What you see is what you get at Getir!

Yes! First, type it in the search bar in the app. If we don’t sell it, tap on the button that says “Why not suggest a product for us to add to Getir?” Then, you know what to do.

Unfortunately you can’t. Orders are quickly yet safely prepared in warehouses so there isn’t time to change the delivery address. Get in touch with our awesome support team if you need to.

Promotions

Yes! Everyone loves a deal. Check the promo area at the top of the home page. You can also tap on the promo icon on the bottom right to see all the current offers we have going on.

There are several ways to get your mitts on a discount. You can find an array of wallet-friendly offers in the promos section on the app. If a special promo has been assigned to your account, it will also appear in the list. At the checkout, tap ‘Select promotion’, where you can choose one from the list, or you can tap ‘Add Promotion Code’ if you’ve got a promo/voucher code. Don’t say we don’t treat you!

Payment

We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, JCB, China UnionPay, Diners, Discover, Elo, Hipercard, Troy, Bancontact, CARNET, Cartes BAncaires and Korean Cards. Bitcoin is too volatile unfortunately.

Go to profile, then “Payment Methods” and follow the instructions. You can also add a card during checkout.

You can pay with credit or debit cards that you can verify correctly.

We are waiving the delivery fee for now (lucky you), but usually, our delivery fee is £1.99.

At the moment, we don’t charge for carrier bags.

Aren’t you kind. Yes, you can tip through the app using your existing payment methods. Contact-free, awesome.

Yes, couriers get 100% of the tip — minus tax. We don’t take a slice, so go forth and give generously (if you want to, of course).

Delivery

What’s a delivery slot? We’re all about the present moment here at Getir. No slots, just super-fast delivery.

Add your address in the Getir app and it’ll let you know whether we deliver to your area or not.

If we don’t, stay tuned. We might be delivering there soon.

We make safe deliveries by a network of couriers using e-bikes and e-scooters.

Simply tap “Watch Order” on the home page and you’ll be redirected to the live map. Pretty sweet.

Sure! You can rate your courier on the app after your order has been delivered. Feel free to add a comment, too. We always like to know where we can do better, and our couriers love hearing if they’ve made you smile.

If no-one is in, your courier will try to leave your delivery in a safe place. If this isn’t possible, we’ll cancel your order and give you a refund.

We’re enforcing Challenge 25 for the sale of alcohol. If the courier believes that you’re younger than 25, they’ll ask for a valid ID to confirm your age. The courier will try and verify your age in your mask or face covering if you’re wearing one, but where they can’t, they’ll ask if you can briefly remove it.

Unfortunately, if you’re unwilling to do this, the sale will be refused.

You can start a live chat with us when your delivery is on its way, and up to an hour after it’s been delivered. Just go to your order details and click the live chat button at the bottom of the screen. Feel free to email us anytime and we’ll get back to you at Getir speed.

Coronavirus

We currently deliver orders contact-free wherever possible. Couriers will ring the doorbell, wait for you to come to your side of the door and will put the shopping on your doorstep. Say a quick hello through the door to let them know you’re there ready to accept the contact-free delivery.

We’ll still need to see a valid ID if your delivery contains alcohol and you look under 25. Find out more about this under ‘Do you have a Challenge 25 policy?’

We’re very strict when it comes to the health of our couriers and customers. People are put first here at Getir. Couriers are required to wear masks while making deliveries. Warehouses are routinely cleaned and disinfected. Couriers and warehouse operators will self-isolate if they test positive for Coronavirus. Needless to say, we still pay our awesome workers while they’re isolating.

First of all, get better soon! Yes, Getir is still here for you. Our delivery is contact-free, so our couriers will drop off your order at your doorstep during delivery. Just give them a shout from your side of the door to let them know you’re there. We hope your Getir order makes self-isolation a little more bearable.
